Anwar Maqsood

Anwar Maqsood is a renowned writer (playwright, scriptwriter, satirist, columnist), actor, and painter. At his closing keynote at the Karachi Literature Festival on 11 February 2018, Anwar Maqsood said that he had been writing for 55 years, criticizing the government for 50 years, painting for 62 years, and that he wrote a newspaper column for 40 years, but despite this, a media outlet recently described him as a “television personality.”
