Adab Festival's Mission, Vision, and Objectives

VISION

To project, preserve, and build on Pakistan's rich and longstanding literary and cultural heritage. To involve the general public in the literary and cultural world, making them aware of, appreciate, and be proud of their heritage. To bring the people of Pakistan, especially its youth, close to books and encourage reading habits.

MISSION

To honour and celebrate Pakistani writers and artists, celebrate Pakistan's rich tapestry of creative output. To promote harmony and unity among the provinces of Pakistan by bringing together authors and artists of all provinces and enabling the audience to listen to, and interact with them.

OBJECTIVE

To create a platform for established and emerging authors and artists to talk about their work and to give them credible awards. To create a platform for diverse Pakistani voices and encourage dialogue and creativity. To organise sessions on books, education, climate change, women's empowerment, health and other relevant subjects. To draw a large audience from all walks of life, especially the youth.
